Why does spiritual awakening happen? More specifically, why is it happening to you? This is an exciting time in the Earth’s history and increasing numbers of people are “waking up.” If that includes you, I explain why.
To understand why spiritual awakening happens, first we need to understand that we’re all souls.
Why does spiritual awakening happen? Because we’re rediscovering our true soul natures.
Yes, that’s right. We are all souls – immortal, immaterial beings who exist in multiple dimensions, the highest of which are non-physical, like ourselves.
We incarnate into human bodies so we can interact with the Earth’s 3D physical environment.
However, only a fraction of our soul inhabits an individual human being.
A significant part of us remains in the higher dimensions along with our higher self, or ‘oversoul’ – the soul we were ‘birthed’ from.
Spiritual awakening is the process of reintegrating our earthbound soul with our higher self and usually takes several years to complete.
We achieve this integration via the medium of ‘the mind’ – our cosmic ‘interface.’

Our universe is a learning environment we’ve created
Souls exist for the purpose of learning. We do it because we enjoy it.
We go through learning cycles, in multiple incarnations, to gain new skills and attributes.
The objective is to reach our highest possible potential – in other words, to successfully complete 100 percent of our soul lessons.
To help us do that, we’ve built this environment – our universe – that we can explore and learn in.
That’s why we ‘forget’ we’re souls when we’re born into a human body.
It would be impossible to learn this life’s lessons if we had all of our soul knowledge at our fingertips.

We’re playing the ‘Game of Life’
If we want to understand ‘why does spiritual awakening happen?’ then we need to know about the ‘Game of Life.’
Souls are highly intelligent, playful beings, so to make our learning more enjoyable we’ve ‘gamified’ our lessons.
This means we’ve applied rules to our earthly incarnations, to make our experience more challenging.
For example, our guides and higher selves can’t just tell us what to do, that would be no fun at all.
So instead we receive signs and whispers of intuition, at least before we’re fully awakened.
We’ve also created a story around the game, with chapters and plot threads.
The spiritual awakenings which are happening around the World right now are connected to the ‘enlightenment’ plot thread.

The ‘enlightenment’ story waypoint
To help the plot of the Game of Life keep moving forward, we have something called ‘story waypoints.’
These are specific events we’re driving towards, which mark a new chapter of the game.
The next major story waypoint for Earth is ‘Global Enlightenment.’
Global enlightenment means every single human being will become aware of their true soul nature.
One day everyone on the planet will go through spiritual awakening as a matter of course. It will be accepted and understood.
In fact, it will be a complete paradigm shift.
That’s why spiritual awakening is happening en masse now – it’s time for this new chapter of Earth’s history.

Five percent of the Earth’s population will start their spiritual awakening before the end of 2027
The global awakening is happening quickly.
By the end of 2027, at least five percent of the World’s population will be on the awakening journey – that’s 400 million people.
The higher evolved souls will awaken first – those who’ve completed at least 70 percent of their soul lessons.
However, not all higher evolved souls will have their spiritual awakening this lifetime.
It depends on their individual mission.

Why Am I having a spiritual awakening?
You may be wondering, ‘why am I being spiritually awakened?’
If you’re awakening now, you’re one of the five percent of early awakeners.
That means you’re a higher evolved soul, even if you’re not aware of it yet.
No-one awakens by accident, so you incarnated with the intention of going through this experience.
However, spiritual awakening is only triggered when we reach a certain level of emotional stability.
A sure sign that your time for awakening is now, is that you’ve done a lot of deep inner work over the last few years.
Those of us in the early wave of awakeners are here to light the way for those who follow us.
That means it’s important to talk about your awakening, to individuals and through social media or a blog.
The more we teach, the easier it will be for others to complete the awakening journey.
What should I do if I’m having a spiritual awakening?
If you’re having your spiritual awakening, first of all, congratulations.
It’s a fascinating and special experience which will transform your life.
The first thing to do is commit to the process.
Awakening takes a long time and has many twists and turns, however the benefits if you stick it out are immeasurable.
The second thing you must do is meditate.
Meditation helps you gain control of the mind – your cosmic interface – and ultimately integrate with your higher self, the primary goal of awakening (watch the video below to find out more).
