A lot of people are finding themselves asking ‘who is Freya?’ at this time in our history. This senior member of the Council of Light is spear-heading a vital mission here on planet Earth which will help move us into the next phase and ever closer to global enlightenment.
In this article I am going to answer the question, ‘who is Freya?’
Freya is a very old soul and one of the ten original members of the Council of Light, the galactic body which oversees our universe.

You may have come across a version of Freya in Norse mythology, where she appears as the Goddess Freyja.
Freyja was associated with love, beauty, fertility, sex, war, gold, and the power of manifestation.
This was a lifetime that the Freya we are talking about lived, at a much earlier time in the Earth’s history.
It is very common for souls to adopt the name of a person’s life they have lived, if it was a notable life.
Or conversely, as Freya did here, to use their own name when they incarnate in a life that they know is going to be significant.
On the Council of Light, Freya is responsible for the visual arts: painting, drawing, sculpture, all of the crafts, TV and film, and anything to do with design.
She’s also got some other very important characteristics.
Freya is all about individuality, freedom of expression, and being yourself.
In fact, as a character, Freya is a little eccentric. She doesn’t care what people think, she just gets on with being herself.
To give you an idea of someone who incarnated on Earth, who was a really pure expression of Freya, David Bowie’s soul descended directly from Freya on the Soul Tree.
He was a pretty pure expression of this member of the Council of Light, so that should give you a feel for Freya.
If you’re wondering what the Soul Tree is, it’s the family tree of souls which shows who we all descend from.
All of us incarnated here on earth as souls, as human avatars, descend from the ten senior members of the Council of Light.
These ten people, in turn, descend from the Architect, the being who, with her team, created this universe that we live in.
So you may recognise in yourself elements of Freya, because it’s very possible that you descend from her.
If you’re a bit off the beaten path or you’re highly creative, or you like to express yourself through flamboyant clothes or makeup, you could be descended from Freya.
Or if you find it very hard to stick in a nine to five job or to live a day-to-day humdrum existence, this is also a hallmark of a Freya descendant, or a Freya personality.

We are moving into a Freya phase of history
There are a lot of Freyas around at the moment.
We are seeing a lot more flamboyance.
There are a lot more people who are prepared to really explore their individualism and who they are, and how they want to express themselves during this earthly lifetime.
This is because we’re moving into a Freya phase of history.
That means that people are going to find ways to live their lives the way they want to, because that is what individualism is all about.
The tools for people to do this are already being provided.
People are learning how to manifest and to make things happen for them.
We are all starting to understand that there is a correlation between what we think and do, and then what happens for us down the track.
This is the way the universe works, we are creating our existence with our minds all of the time, consciously or unconsciously.
So as we continue to move into this new Freya phase, people will find their paths and people will become more and more creative.
We will see this great burgeoning of the creative arts that is already happening.
Even people who’ve never thought of themselves as being creative before will find a route in and will find a way to tap into that deep creative well that they have.
Because all souls are creative to one degree or another, it’s is what we do, we’re creative beings.
Freya needs your help
It’s very possible that you have been receiving signs that Freya is around and about and in your environment.
Because even if you don’t descend from the Freya branch of the Soul Tree, she is guiding a lot of people.
That is because she is leading the next phase of the ‘Earth project’.
This whole Earth experience that we’re living in is a huge project which has been going on for millennia.
So even if you don’t fit a full Freya profile, you might be finding yourself encouraged in Freya-like directions.
This will help her succeed in her project goals.
There’s a lot of us who have incarnated at this phase in our history to help Freya in her phase of the Earth project.
It’s a great phase, because it will transition us to a society which allows people to be themselves.
It’s time to move on from the patriarchal model of society to something looser and more individual.
We will see a rebalancing of the feminine and the allowance of freedom of expression in all groups.
If you are hearing the name Freya around and about a lot or you’re feeling an urge to leave a safe and stable career and explore something more fulfilling and creative, then you are part of Freya’s project.
If you’re seeing symbols of eagles, because the golden eagle is Freya’s mascot, or you’re feeling a connection to mountains, these are links to Freya and signs to you.
They are signs from your team on the other side that you’re involved in Freya’s project.
What can you do to help Freya?
If you’re wondering how you can help, one ways is to keep going along your spiritual path.
If you have started the awakening process, keep going
The most important thing is to build your communication channel with your team, because if you do that, they can guide you directly.
Then you don’t need anyone else to steer you, they will tell you what it is you need to do.
So if you’re aware that you’re connected in some way to this Freya phase, or you think you might be a Freya and you want to really explore ‘why am I here? What is my part in this project?’ then follow the spiritual path.
If you want to deepen your communication channel then daily meditation is a really good place to start.

Most of all, explore who you are and how you want to express yourself on this earthly plane in this lifetime.
What makes you happy?
Where do you feel like you are most yourself?
Who are the people that you want to associate with?
If it means you have to make some changes or you have to step out of your comfort zone, my advice is to do it. You will be much happier in the long run.
The more people who make the leap, the happier, more equal society we will live in and ultimately that is what this is all about.
That is what this spiritual awakening process that so many of us are going through is all about.
