Returns Policy for Artworks
My Commitment to You
I hope that you are delighted with your purchase of my paintings. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied, I offer a straightforward returns policy in line with UK regulations.
Your Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from the day you receive your goods. As paintings sometimes take a week or more to arrive with the buyer, I extend this period to 28 days. This allows you time to inspect the artwork and make sure it meets your expectations.
How to Initiate a Return
1. Contact Me:
Please email me at [email protected] within 14 days of receiving your painting, indicating your intention to return the item. Please let me know the reason for the return. I will give you the address to return the painting to at this time.
2. Prepare the Artwork for Return:
Ensure the painting is securely packaged in its original packaging to prevent damage during transit. If the original packaging is not available, please ensure the item is well-protected.
3. Return Shipping:
You are responsible for the cost of returning the painting to me. I recommend using a tracked and insured service, as I cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
Refund Process
Inspection: Once I receive the returned painting, I will inspect it to ensure it is in its original condition.
Processing: I will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item. The refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Exclusions: Please note that I cannot accept returns of custom or commissioned pieces unless they are faulty or damaged.
Damaged or Faulty Items
If your painting arrives damaged or faulty, please contact me immediately at [email protected] with photographs of the damage. I will arrange for a replacement or a full refund, including the cost of return shipping.
