‘Girl With Red Hair’ – Sophia Persephone – Original Oil Painting

 

Original portrait oil painting on archival quality linen.

This painting was created as a practice piece for my appearance on Sky Arts ‘Portrait Artist of the Year’ in  2024

Portrait Artist of the Year requires the artist to complete a portrait within 4 hours, so my focus in this painting was to get an accurate likeness, while also creating a compelling work of art.

I love the way the greens and reds bounce off each other.

50x40cm, sold unframed.
